If your university/institution is listed here FEIDE, please contact your IT department and request that the following services should be approved for login by users from your university/institution:

• Galaxy server at UiB - galaxy-uib.bioinfo.no
• Galaxy server at UiO - galaxy-uio.bioinfo.no
• Galaxy server at NTNU -galaxy-ntnu.bioinfo.no
• Galaxy server at UiT - galaxy-uit.bioinfo.no
• Galaxy server at NMBU - galaxy-nmbu.bioinfo.no
• Storebioinfo national storage service - storebioinfo.norstore.no

If you cannot find your home institution in the list from FEIDE, you will have to apply for a personal NeLS identity to be used with the services in the NeLS infrastructure. Click the "Login with NeLS identity" button to get started, then you will find the "Apply for a NeLS identity" button next.

Many hospitals are closely associated with universities, some providing all research affiliated staff with university login credentials while others do not. If you have a clear university related e-mail address with a suffix like @depX.uio.no or @depY.uib.no, you most likely have a FEIDE enabled university account affiliated with that university.
On the other hand, if you only have access to a health/hospital centric e-mail address like @helse-bergen.no or @rr-research.no, you most likely do not have access to a FEIDE enabled account from your local university. Then you will need to apply for a personal NeLS identity to be able to start using the services in the NeLS infrastructure.
